Clear controls and known limits

  • Encrypted history

Transcripts and optional recordings are encrypted in your browser before upload. Summaries are optional. A text-only caption feed can go into streaming software such as OBS.

  • Secure access

Two-step sign-in, invite-only teams, separate customer data and audit logs that show tampering.

  • Demo and console use different routes

The main console sends audio directly to the translation providers. The public demo uses a separate audio relay, so read its data-use notice first. Remote speaker links are temporary and single-use.

  • Known delay on phones

Phone listening is one-way only and runs about 6 to 20 seconds behind the speaker.

  • Billed per output language

Each output language is billed separately. Check your plan before a live session.

Questions customers ask

All frequently asked questions

What is SalamAI?

SalamAI is live speech translation that runs in the browser. It turns what a speaker says into spoken audio and subtitles, so people who do not share a language can follow the same meeting or event.

How many languages are supported?

More than 70 languages through the translation engine, and 13 languages with spoken output today. You can choose up to 10 output languages per session.

Does the audience need to install an app?

No. It runs in the browser. In phone listening mode, the audience hears the translation about 6 to 20 seconds after the speaker.

How is SalamAI billed?

Each output language is billed separately. Contact us to confirm your plan before a live session.

Is the audio kept private?

Transcripts and optional recordings are encrypted in your browser before upload, and sign-in uses two steps. Read the data-use notice before using the public website demo.

How accurate is it?

AI translation can make mistakes, and quality depends on the audio and language pair. Try a 30-second demo with non-sensitive speech first.

Is SalamAI right for your next event or counter?

Tell us about your event or counter. We will talk through the fit and the languages.
